The Debt Gala is back and bolder than ever! And hopefully drier than ever! After last year's show was flooded out halfway through due to historic rains in Brooklyn, we’re back and ready to hit the red carpet all over again!

On May 5th, 2024, The Debt Gala returns to Brooklyn for a night of fun, fashion, and community.

This is YOUR chance to have a moment in the limelight in your fabulous outfits and creations. While the Met Gala is a pop culture experience reserved for an elite few, we are a red carpet for the people. Show off your style, enjoy a raucous variety show, and celebrate at the Debt Ball dance party. All in service of an incredible cause.

Last year, we raised over 15K to alleviate a whopping $1,995,300.85 in medical debt for 1,082 families.

This year, all proceeds will be split between the Debt Collective and Dollar For, two incredible organizations dedicated to eradicating medical debt and building a world where people aren’t bankrupted due to healthcare costs.
